Terms of Service

Effective: September 2026. Dezoomify is free, open-source software (GPL) provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. By using it, you agree to the following.

Respect source sites

• Download only images you have the right to download, and respect the terms of the sites you visit.
• Dezoomify does not bypass paywalls, logins, or access controls: it fetches public content, or content through your own browser session with your explicit permission.
• Do not hammer servers: the app limits request rates, and you agree not to defeat those limits.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Dezoomify to infringe copyright or any other rights.
• Do not probe, attack, or abuse the metadata proxy or any other service operated for the app; automated bulk use beyond normal personal use may be rate-limited or blocked.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damage arising from use of the software, including failed downloads or action taken by third-party sites in response to your requests.
